Meet Dave

As a CPA for almost three decades and the founder of the Retirement Risk Advisors, Dave has spent years building the groundwork for the risk-based approach to retirement planning. Dave got his master’s degree in accounting from Southern Utah University.

Dave has taught over 200,000 CPAs and financial professionals through webinars, his podcast, and speaking engagements on the risks facing their retirements and how to get the safest, most secure retirement they deserve.

Dave is a Top Presenter with CPAacademy, and has spoken on various radio shows and podcasts about his passion for helping people to a better retirement. In May of 2023, Dave published his book Getting Safely Through Retirement: A New Paradigm to Retirement. His book acts as a detailed guidebook for modern retirement planning with strategies that can reduce the financial retirement risks many may face.

While Dave grew up in Utah, he has lived all across the country, and now resides in Tennessee with his family. When he isn’t helping people get to a safer retirement, he can be found spending time with his family and community.
